Remember that the Walk to Emmaus is not to solve deep-seated personal problems. It is to provide to those attending, a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.

What can you tell us that would make this candidate's Walk to Emmaus better?

After prayerful consideration, I recommend this Applicant for the Walk to Emmaus. I have known the Applicant long enough and well enough to make this recommendation. The Applicant is active in the indicated local church. I have explained the Walk to Emmaus, Gatherings and Small Group Reunions to the Applicant. If accepted, I will Sponsor the Applicant, bring the Applicant to the Send-off Site, attend the Sponsor’s Hour, support the Candlelight Services, attend the Closing, take the Applicant home from the Closing, see to the needs of the Applicant’s family during the weekend and, after the Weekend, help the Applicant get into a Reunion Group, connected with a supporting community and educate the Applicant on Sponsorship. The Applicant does not, to my knowledge, have any physical, mental or spiritual problem that would hinder either the Applicant making a Walk to Emmaus or the experience of others on the Walk.

(1) Completed and signed application, (2) Completed and signed sponsor's form (3) Payment in FULL ($180)
